So... after stepping out with WAC (wymondham athletic club) on Monday, had a quiet day Tuesday.  I say quiet.... that would be quiet on the running front. The rest of my day was absolutely manic. and revision/exam mania has taken full hold with my daughter sitting her AS's over the next couple of weeks.

On Wednesday I went out for 3.5 miles which I ran at an average pace of 10.04.  I didn't really enjoy it much and pretty much grumbled and chuntered all the way round.  Legs felt like lead, had a snotty nose and a niggle in my left calf but most of all I moaned about the number of flies I seemed to be consuming...  is this a sign I may need to work on my breathing coz I was sucking them in bigtime! Or is it just because I live in Norfolk and went along a semi rural route and there could have been a fair bit of rurally stuff going on - but still .... Yuk!  Have to admit, felt like a big whinging wuss when I got on here later and read KeithL's daily report. What that man is doing is truly inspirational and I vowed I wouldn't moan, grumble or chunter again ....... this week anyway!

Today I took my gear into work and decided to run home.  I only live 2 miles from the office so again took a fairly flat (no surprise there then) rural route to take it to 5.2 miles. It was a great run and one I shall be doing more often.  A bit of swapping from one side of road to other to keep myself seen to the traffic of which there was more than I thought there would be, but it was a beautiful day and really nice to feel the sun on my face for a change.   Average pace was 10.13 and no grumbling or chuntering to be heard at all...

Have decided to go back to using the MI Coach app until I've enough pennies for my sparkly new Garmin because the Asics one doesn't give split times or record shoe mileage - unless I'm missing something - both of which Mi Coach does and both of which I like to know!

Mr R and I have a 24hour pass this weekend and are heading off to London to take in a bit of shopping, maybe a show and definately good food and fine wine!  Much as I love my kids, my job, and running ... am really really really looking forward to it :-)

Hope everyone has a great weekend and the weather is kind to us!
