Training despite the weather

Managed to motivate myself enough to go for 10km when I got in from work last night. It was freezing outside but I wrapped up, thank goodness for my windproof gilet! I was really pleased with my pace, always makes a difference when you get lucky with the tarffic lights at the pedestrian crossings!
When I got in I have a large bowl of pumpkin/tomato soup (it also had beans, sweetcorn and brown rice in it - really nuritious, thanks Covent Garden Soup Co.) and a slice of rye bread with houmous.
Tuesday
Got up this morning a bit later than expected and it was raining so tried out the pilates dvd rather than going running. 35 mins of some good squatting and ab work. Also good for stretching out my legs from last nights run.
Breakfast was porridge with cranberries and raisins and 4 segments of grapefruit (good fat burning apparently). Mid morning I had a handful of dried papaya.
That's quite a bit of sugar for the morning with all the dried fruit. I need to try and be more sensible the rest of today.
