Gorilla Running by lunty

In training for my 8th Great North Run on the trot and I want to make this a special find raiser, so running it in fancy dress! But I just have this overwhelming desire to run it dressed as a gorilla... No idea why, just an idea that came to me waiting at the start of last year's race!

Am I mad???

It should be the first time I run the course with my wife - she usually finishes a good hour behind me. So I think it should be possible, and a great way to raise some cash for our chosen charity.

It will also be my first time running the Great North as a veteran runner. Not that I'm having a mid life crisis!
