To be a better blogger

Firstly I would just like to apologise for the lack of comments on your posts. I get the e-mail reminders but since realbuzz changed I cannot comment via my I-phone. Running has not been good and I have put on weight. So on the 20th June I gave myself a kick up the bum and have been back out running and started to eat properly. I am using an app on my phone to keep a check on calories and hoping that this will help. I got on the scales yesterday and was 15st 6.8lbs, so something needs to be done.
I went out last night for a run. It felt hard but it was good to be back out. Managed 5.42 miles in 45:41. Happy with this as this is only my 4th run this month. I am off work this week so have no excuses. I have also got my bike out and bought a seat on the back for Grace so we can go out if the weather is good. Missing out though at the moment as we are having windows and doors fitted, but hopefully they will be finished tomorrow. I am also looking for my next challenge so that I can hopefully get my running mojo back.
Managed to sort all my money that I raised for Help for Heroes when I ran teh Virgin London Marathon. Thanks to everyone who did and I raised the grand total of £1250.
Hope everyone is fit and well and that your training is going well. take Care
Paul

tinabee 'I think it is normal to lose your mojo after doing a huge event like the VLM. I am sure once you find a new challenge you will be off and running again ('cuse the pun!)' added 22nd Jun 2011

kraftykat 'Yep, it is normal to find it hard to get back on track after a big event, I was the same after Kielder. Look for another challenge and then it gives you something to focus on, I'm sure once you start working to it then the weight will drop off. Well done with the fund raising.' added 23rd Jun 2011
