My first Marathon - Ottawa 2010 by marmaduck

Shortly after I book my flight home later this weekend or next weekend, I will be registering for the Ottawa Marathon 2010 - my first marathon, after having run several half marathons.  Next week, I have my third half marathon race where I should PB...I can't wait until it's over...the suspense is killing me as to how I'll fare, since I already ran a nearly 5 minute PB in training a couple weeks ago.

Last month, I received my rejection from the Virgin London Marathon, so decided that since I was going to be at home at the time of the Ottawa Marathon, that I would run the full marathon.  If I had been doing the London Marathon, I had the half marathon in mind as a nice way to spend a Sunday morning at home - I guess I'm a bit of a sucker for punishment in a way!!!
