About the trials and tribulations of Hilland Dale
....right, so i had this idea about running the london marathon.....again.
I seem to have completely forgotten the pain, missed training due to injury and nearly five and a half hours on a blindingly hot day 3 years ago in favour of the deep satisfaction after falling over the finish line.
So here i am day ....well not quiet day 1 but you get the idea. First things to go Alcohol and take-aways. Weighing in at just over 16st this is a must. Second thing to do establish a training plan and must remeber "NOT TO OVERDO IT!!!!" thats how the achilles injury came about last time. Third find some events to aim for in the lead up to the marathon.
Will post training plan on calendar when i've established it
First things first 15 mins run in the morning at steady pace
