London Marathon? Am I insane? I need help...... by nickeames

Having crawled to the finish line of the Bournemouth Bay half Marathon last year, I thought ' how can anyone run the whole distance over again! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! 12 months from that date, I will be attempting it.

For some reason a few days after finishing the half marathon I felt quite good about myself (quickly forgetting the pain I was in around the run) and thought I was IRON MAN and could do anything if I put my mind to it. So I the marathon!!!

Deep down I really thought it's ok no one gets accepted on their first attempt, at least people will think I had the right attitude, it wasn't my fault I hadn't been accepted.

Imagine my shock and horror when I got  an acceptance letter last month!!.....
