hi everyone,

well it has been over 2weeks since my last post. my internet got cut off as we had to make the choice between the kids getting fed or having the net, damn kids win every time!!!! only joking of course.

running is going well but i have had to miss my last 2 LSR training sessions as the first one was for childcare and the second was 'cos it was my birthday last sunday. yeah 34 i was, i have to say im not overly chuffed about the situation to tell the truth!!! i suppose im living out darwins theory of evolution, evolving into a marathon runner the older i get, maybe i will get better legs and loose weight as part of my personal evolution? i am working with a new training plan which i have used for the last 2weeks too. i was looking for a training plan to do between the 2marathons im doing that are only 4weeks apart, and i found a plan where i have monday off, don't we all, then its 2miles tuesday, 3miles weds, 4miles hills thurs, 8miles fri, and 3saturday, with my lsr on the sunday. although i have missed my lsr the rest of the plan is really good and especially for someone like me who has to run too and from work 'cos thats the only time i have to myself and my lsr has to be done before everone gets up on a sunday, i have usually finnished my run when you guys are either having breakfast or still in bed.

i have now had my garmin for exactly a year and i have done a total of 860miles. i couldnt beleive it when i saw the total the other day. is that good? im not sure but im pleased with it none the less. its fair to say that its a good running partner!!!

i got a bike for my birthday and will therefore put a really long bike ride in my training now and then. i did a ride the other day, 11miles in 40mins. so much quicker than running, today i did 10miles running in 1hr 30mins!!! anyway i love my shiny black bike, oh and it couldn't leave the shop without a bell on it, a new legal requirement appaerntly, even for those 6grand bikes, how funny.

i have spent some time in the kids primary school too doing a picture cd for the leavers, it has been dead interesting so far and there is a few weeks left so i hope we get it done in time. next school year im hoping to do a lot more with them to do with my art.

right kids bed times now.

It is hard fitting runs in around family and I admire your dedication running to work. Good luck with the training plan and squeezing it in to your busy busy life!' added 2nd Jul 2011
