apart from the marathon being a life long dream, there is another reason i have decided to run the london marathon 2010. 8 years ago my wife and i suffered the tragedy of loosing a child. He was born at 23 weeks and lasted for just a few seconds. It was the worst thing we have ever gone through. George will always be with us. We recieved extremely poor service from the hospital George was born in and also we were offered no counciling. It is something that to this day i feel is very raw! Carrying Georges coffin to his grave is something that will haunt me till the day I die.

I have chosen to raise money for a charity called FSID. With their help, others, hopefully, won't go through what me and my wife had to go through.

The memory of George will push me through the difficult times and when i cross the finnish line I am going to feel dead emotional.
