The race to the Paris Marathon, the missus, the cat & work by northernsouthernmonkee

Memo to self - don't leave my iphone around the house when the cat is home as he has a habit of infiltrating websites and writing blogs... Struggled out there tonight and plodded along for 5.5miles. Still aching from the wknd especially the outsides of my thighs i didn't realise I had muscles there. It  must be the hills from Saturday as I think they have ruined me for a week and I have aches ontop of pains in the right ankle/achilles area. Thought I would be clever tonight and run a route that took me past the Royal Mail depot in town to collect a parcel that had arrived in the day. I presumed it was a small envelope containing some tickets i'd ordered that just required a signature. I wasn't however impressed when I had to run the last 3 miles clutching a huge parcel under one arm containing a pair of new shoes for the missus!Drowned out the traffic listening to podcasts of Fighting Talk, (located on BBC radio 5 Saturdays at 11am). Each episode is about 50 mins long so ideal for a short run and it is a very funny sports quiz/panelist showAt work the court case is progressing slowly, witnesses are the most important people involved in any case yet logistically and mentally they can be the most challenging people. Following on from the previous blog i told my better half she could be a guest editor soon. She was very excited until I said that I'd be writing it on her behalf, but she complained that the cat wrote his own... so why couldn't she?! But yes I succumbed.
