Yoga(!)

So in a lot of the marathon training tips I have been reading up on it says that flexibility will help you stay injury free. Given that I have all the flexibility of unpolished granite I thought it might be a good idea to work on this. My mate Jamie, who Ive been doing a lot of cycling with and who has problems with his back, suggested we try a bit of yoga. Now to me yoga has always conjured up images of tree hugging, yoghurt eaters who read the Guardian and teach at a 6th form college in Islington but then my mum recently started yoga and she's about as far from that stereotype as its possible to be so Ive decided to give it a go. I shall be attending a class tonight at Yogajaya in Ebisu (www.yogajaya.com) but given I cant even touch my toes I wont hold my breath.. which is robably a bad thing in yoga as well.
