Ahhh, the perils of training when you are ill

We all know not to do it but we still think a little run will not do us any harm don't we? After last weekend when I refereed then cycled on Sunday despite not feeling great it has took me a week to recover.

Mon - Sat - got worse as the week wore on, got better as the week ended but still felt horrid. Was not too bad Saturday sol I took the dog for a 2 hour walk.

Sunday - I went to my game on Sunday. It was a double banker which means two games one straight after the other. Each one is shortened to 60 minutes but it was still a 2 hour runaround in the Hampshire countryside only this time I think it did me good. I covered 6 miles in two games but I was knackered at the end.

Monday - is always a rest day so no exercise to talk off. Mrs K and I did take the dog for a long walk though, about 75 minutes along an old railway track. I did referee at the 5 a side last night and dished out 9 cards, 2 were reds. That is very unusual for me, I hardly give any out as I (like to think) I control the games pretty well. Obviously not last night, or I was in a shitty mood.

Tuesday - 2 miles this morning. Went to the Dr's only to find I was a day early so I jogged home. No watch or anything, just jogging.

Never ever give up
