Well, before I got on, here's a personal message to the people behind realbuzz.com -
Stop messing around with this site.
Seriously. I'm uploaded images every update and they've now took down the image button on the blog entry window. Last year I had a lot more feedback from people and journal views but since the "revamp", there's been a huge reduction in visitors and comments. Crazy. There's a link to the left which lets me upload images but in the wrong kind of way. Whoo!
So, allow me to hack into this blog and insert the graph the hard way...
*phew* So thank you, realbuzz.com. Thank you for making this process a bit more difficult. As you can see from the graph, it was a hilly ascent back home in the sun along with a rucksack and my trust iPod - although I set it to "Basic" which means that I didn't get the regular updates on how many kilometers I've ran. I think it actually does me good to not know so I can continue to slog along. I stopped for a few seconds a few times but only to wipe out the sweat from my eyes. The lowest bump was also the largest hill too. Spooky!
So I'm waiting now for my Macmillan letters and the inevitable number from the Great North Run organisers to cement even further why I'm doing what I'm doing.
I'll be visiting folks this weekend and possibly running either 2km more or 2km less than 17km, although I'll probably start winding down so 15km it is. I know I can run the distance again although I might give it a break after this year... who knows? The atmosphere could well give me more reason to run it next year too..!
Hope training is going well. It'll probably be going a lot better than trying to update the "new and improved" realbuzz.com :(
