After 10 years of working, Pollyanne has decided to take time off and raise funds for the Smile Train. She will spend the month of November trekking from Dublin on the East Coast to the West Coast of Ireland. This is a 387 mile hike and broken down into 24 day stages. Pollyanne is walking across Ireland with her dog Flora to keep her company with the rain and cold of November weather! She will be hiking across some remote areas of Ireland and is currently having problems finding accommodation overnight which will take her dog. More about the Smile Train – www.smiletrain.org Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. They aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job.
