Back on the road!

Dec17200910:41 p.m.

After a bit of a disaster in the gym yeterday ran back out on the road today which despite the hail stones pounding down on me was still way more enjoyable than the torment of the treadmill.  Spent the entire evening messing up my kitchen making cakes for a cake sale we're holding at the local rugby club on Sunday to raise money for our charity.  Am no Delia Smith so apologies to everyone who is going to be unlucky enough to sample one of my delights, still am running for SENSE so if they're a bit dodgy will pass them off as a taste sensation!  Have a 60 minute run planned for tomorrow altough at the moment there's a really good covering of snow outside and it's still coming down.  Having only ever done autumn events before and trained through the lovely spring summer months have never come up against running in these conditions.  Any advice on what you guys do about your training in the snow would be gratefully appreciated is the treadmill the only answer, am a bit scared of falling and injuring myself and being ruled out.   Many thanks for the great comments yesterday and good luck everyone with your training x x.
