I did it was like Bambi on ice.

Went out to do my 60 minutes this morning the snow wasn't as bad as precited so thought I would avoid the treadmill. Glad I did because despite the ice and the cold it was a really good run not as fast as I would have liked but had to take it easy in parts as it was quiet slippery managed to get through just over 7 miles so am happy with that. Thank you to my lovely running partner for looking after my daughter while I did it, we did spend some time debating who had the hardest hour me running or her looking after 3 kids under 6 still undecided (secretly think I may have got the best deal). Going to rest now till Sunday. Everyone stay safe on the icy roads hoping the snow will hold off a bit now, though would love a little bit on Christmas day.

simonedumergue 'I fortunately haven't got any snow where I am, but I remember how hard it was in the snow and ice back in February. Well done on getting out there, and yes, I'd take running any day over looking after six children!' added 18th Dec 2009
