Started week 5 off a tempo  with a 7 mile run in 52 mins.

Also had a few sponsors over the weekend bringing total raised so far to £550 for The Insurance Charities.

Today, I've realised how much of a challenge 2012 miles this year is going to be.  Even though I have 2.5 marathons planned and currently on track with 182.5 miles ran so far it's the training around annual holidays, bank hols, Easte, etc that's going to pose the greatest stretch. Can you imagine those planned parties and sacrifices that will need to be made to run 2012 miles in the year 2012.

The good thing is after the Chester marathon in October i will need to keep my running going and avoid weight gain during the winter months ... A bit like last year with the hope of running VLM2012.

Your support and advice is therefore very much welcomed.  Is there an official 2012 running challenge to register with?
