I get kocked dahn, but-I-get-up-again!!

In the words of the great Chumawunba:
"I get knocked down
But I get up again
You're never going to keep me down"
In the same breath, they also said:
"P*ssing the night away
P*ssing the night away"
But we'll overlook that second bit, eh!
I had THE BEST RUN on Sunday. It was lashing it down with rain, the wind was brewing up a serious storm, it was dark, it was miserable, and I was in Bournemouth. So what did I decide to do? I went for a 10km beachfront run, of course!
And although the rain was stinging my face and the rain was making m'running gear cling round my muffin tops (you can never have too many) it was ace. There weren't many people about: only one other bonkers runner and a few kite surfers and board surfers. Noice.
Makes you feel alive kind of running.
That night (Sunday) I headed back to Barth only (near home) to get boshed in the beee-hind from a driver behind me not keeping an eye out in front of him. Snif!
I still ache today. Not fun. And sooo frustrating when I've just rediscovered my running mojo.
I'll be back, though - innit!!
