Right - here we go - proper training
Feb1420109 a.m.
Dragged myself out of bed at 9am this morning and went for a long (very) slow run. Managed around 13 miles in 2 hours which was great. I did have to stop but I've got a system now that if I feel I have to stop, I take 60 steps and start up again. I feel fine and don't feel too guilty as it's not as if it's a long walk (is it?!?) I was delighted when I got back and had a nice hot shower. I was a bit knackered for the rest of the day though. Even though I have breakfast when I get back, I find that my energy levels drop like a stone after a longer run. I'm also taking a bottle of Lucozade sport with me and buying another one halfway round. Anyone got any tips?
