    Getting lost

Just popped out this morning to do a few miles was feeling quite stiff after some speed training yeasterday and hockey. A few relaxed miles turned into 6 miles which is a lot for averaging a ten min mile which given the conditions was good. Was more like cross country than nething else one stage i had to walk along a field as there was no path just lots of rushes in a mad effort to get myself home. My brand new trainers are now brown and not bright white think thats the most disapointing thing :-). Neway thats another plod under my belt just need to get rid of this injury and ill be sorted bring on 2mara and a ten mile challange. Will be the furthest distance yet :-)

    rubbish rubbish rubbish

Well here i am again back to blogging away, its only taken me 3 months!!!!!!!!, in that time ive been injured, fixed, injured, fixed and injured again. So now for the bad news, the marathon is only 78 days away so whats that wait calculator time 11 weeks 1 day way and im a stone heavier than i was in november and have only managed 7.5 mile runs. Time to get serious i think. I know i can run further so need to get up and do it. Have scheduled in a nice 8 mile effort for 2morrow so prehaps this is the start of things to come. Have any of you guys ever ran belfast>? any advice on the route??

    All support and advice welcome

    braved running club

well i made it to running club really enjoyed it was great. We did warm up then 25 mins of hills at a 10k pace so jus kept going up and down this hill 4 25 mins the recovery was meant to be the way down but you had to stay at your 10k pace if that makes sence. Actually really enjoyed it and the people were really nice. Felt fine afterwards and this morning thought i mite be a bit sore but was fine. This was the start of all sorts of problems. Decided to do a quick jog 2nite with the housie ended up being 40 mins at a pretty fast pace 600 kcals later there were litle niggles appearing everywere most worrying being one deep into my calf which throughout the evening has turned in2 a dull ache. Not good on the eve off two hockey matches i should probably know better is my own fault jus hope i can get through tomorrow now without breaking myself totally :-(

wooo only one day to the weekend...

    Hey guys

Had a rest day yesterday dont feel any better for having it tho in fact i feel down right lazy for missing my spinning session but if i hadnt i would have ended up training every day this week and sometimes twice a day, dont want to push things too hard. Also missed my gym session b4 work in preparation for this evening, im trying to build up the courage to go along to my local running club have been thinking about it for weeks now but not quite managed it yet so hopefully 2nite will be the nite. Think it could really help me if i can get it into my weekly training regieme. ONce i get myself sorted with running gona start and look at my diet again seems to have gone to pot over the past few weeks lots of chocolate and sweets being sneaked in not good slimming world will be mad with me :-)
