gemmyjam 'Hi Shiz, Tried messaging you back but you have blocked private messages so i've added it here!! What type of training are you doing? Is it a good idea to be doing training everyday? If your doing a lot of cardio then i would stick to green days & then you can have a ton of pasta which should help to keep your energy up. I have a variety of the both green & red but if you were to pin me down i would say i have more green then red. I tend to have red days on the weekend & then green throughout the week with the odd red day here & there. Wednesday's are a different matter i tend to stick to plan up until i weigh in & then i have what i want whether this be cake, pizza, takeout or loads of chocolate. I know it is difficult to do but remember if you are doing a lot of resistance work then you are probably building muscle which won't help with the numbers but will help in the long run. What kind of things to you have, meal wise? good luck, gemmyjam' added 6th Nov 2008

a_bet_made_me 'Hi Shiz!!! Belfast is a hilly one.. but I do have my current pb over that course! Have you entered any other races? Or is this the first one? If you are NI based (I'm in Dublin) check out the Up and Running group who encourage EVERYBODY to exercise up to ultra marathoners ( thats 35 miles +) if you are Belfast based... they do have a run next Wednesday night from the Errigle Inn on the Ormeau Rd at 6.30pm - entry is £ 8.50 for non members and there will be food afterwards... the Up and Runners are a great group of people who are incredibly friendly and supportive no matter what your ability and what you want to achieve! Good luck and see ya in Belfast!!' added 7th Nov 2008
