Well I went ahead and entered Halstead Marathon. My thinking is less around a pb and more about enjoying the event (as it will be my 10th marathon).

Managed a few runs last week including a 15 miler on Sunday when staying at the in laws. Weather was beautiful and being on the north east coast not too hot. Slight problem was the sore knee afterwards which took 36 hour to ease off. Not the same pain as before. What are my knees like!

Have now also entered ballot for VLM 2012. Why do I do it when I said no more. Its like a disease.

Also thinking about Dublin Marathon later in the year. I seriously need to see a Doc to talk to me about the way in which my mind is working. There is something seriously dislodged in the brain which seems to be masking all of the pain!
