Evenings

Why are evening runs so much harder than the weekend morning runs???

I did 5 tonight, but it felt difficult! Whereas, last Sunday it felt ok doing 15.

Does anybody know how close family and friends can get to the finish line in Central Park? Is there a special area for family and friends to gather?

I am more and more starting to think about the finishing line.

Bizarre really.

  • hilaryjohnson 'I agree - morning runs are soooo much easier - good job NY's a morning run! Don't know anything about the finish but I did read on the NYC site that it takes 1/2 hour for runners to get through the finish stuff and meet up with friends. There may be something about where spectators can go on the site. I'm hoping to get my support team somewhere as we run south through Central Park (mile 23-25) cause I reckon that's when I'll need the encouragement! Have a good one this w/e.
