What to wear under your shorts ???
Jan2820129:18 a.m.
Hi peeps , before the debate just a little about the last few days . Not done a lot just a 3 mile run on Friday morning . That's it !
So to what to wear under your shorts , and here's where I hope that I might get some feedback , I think that women have the edge , men wear boxer shorts but I can't see many men running in boxers on the 22nd . I find that boxer shorts don't erm support enough , things seem to move uncomfortably to one side , dangle , get throttled and generally be uncomfortable . So to the old Y fronts , not got any so can't comment , feedback needed here . Women complain about unsightly lines , I think , well what about us dudes ? Should we run as we are ? might be slightly bulgy in Lycra , and it always gets the odd comment , women have bumps but if a man has a bump well that's different , it allows for a remark . So should men try a thong or g string like women ? it or they must hold things in place , saves on extra weight too . Or are men too scared to wear things like this ?
There must have been thousands or pounds spent on research etc making support bras for women to prevent bounce etc but what about us men ?
Your replies are awaited ....
No foul or abusive remarks will be tolerated !!!
As you will notice to prevent any unsightly lumps I ran my last London with a guys head in front of me .

AndyTedd 'I had the same problem as you, then I tried a pair of Nike running shorts. They are black and light weight with a liner in to hold you in. You don't wear anything underneath. They are the best! You can get them in any sports shop and cost about £15?? I am wearing a pair in my profile pic. ' added 28th Jan 2012

AndyTedd 'Ok, in that case you want a pair of Nike Combat Pro underwear. They are like boxes, but are made of dry fit material to keep you dry. Then you can wear anything you like over the top. DO NOT WEAR COTTON!!! They will just get wet and annoy you. Goo luck. Oh, I got the garmin 910xt..... It's the best!!!' added 28th Jan 2012

AndyTedd 'Yeah, my mate just got the forerunner 405cx. It does most stuff the same for running. It doesn't count your laps for swimming. Its about £115 on amazon. I love the 910xt though. ' added 28th Jan 2012

marcphillips 'Compression shorts definitely, AndyTedd recommends Nike, I've got a couple of pairs of them and they do the job. Then anything you like over the top to protect your modesty(or you could stuff a pair of socks in to impress..)' added 29th Jan 2012
