127 Days to go to the Columbus Marathon

Jun1720085:02 a.m.

It's been approximately 36 days since I first posted a message for the Columbus Marathon. In that first post I urged you not to let the time go without starting to plan for your race and to take care of many of the aspects that will ensure a successful race.

Now with 127 days to go, let's see if we have the answers to a few key questions.

  • Have you developed a plan to get you to the finish line?
  • Has the plan been reviewed by a coach?
  • Have you invested in a good pair of running shoes to get your through your training regimen?
  • Have you consulted with a nutritionist to get the most out of the food you eat?
  • Do you have training partners who can join you on some of your tougher workouts?
  • Lastly, have you committed to running the race of your life?
I hope by now you will have the answers to many of the questions asked above. If not, you still have time to get all your ducks in a row, but time is ticking. Don't wait much longer? Remember preparing for a marathon is not always about just running mile after mile, but it's also about the little things. Get the little things out of the way so that you training can be smooth and hassle free.

As always, good luck with your training for the Columbus Marathon.
