Happy new Year

Jan0420103:18 p.m.

Christmas not so great - my Dad had to go into hospital on Boxing Day and my Nan dislocated her shoulder before Christmas so now has to wear a special sling.

Kept up with my running though, on the Monday and Wednesday before Christmas did four miles on the treadmill. Then went four days without running because of nephew's birthday, Christmas Day, Dad going to hospital, until finally being able to get outside for some fresh air and then a four mile run. Managed nine miles the next day and then later in the week tempo and speedwork, those were not tool bad. Also did an easy run on New Year's Day and ten miles yesterday along icy country lanes (had to slow down to a walk at times to make sure I stayed on my feet!)

So the training is on schedule, might be more 2:20 rather than 2:15 for the half marathon.

Happy New Year everyone and I'll be in touch again soon.

Love

Spoogie
