Morning chaps. Seems a while since I posted anything due to been on leave and then having a bad cold for a couple of weeks. Hope everyone is well and congratulations to all those who completed the London Marathon. I completed the Leeds HM last Sunday in my slowest time ever which I was a bit disappointed about. There were reasons though so I shouldn't beat myself up too much I suppose. I was just getting over a really bad cold and I've still got a problem with my hip which if I do a long run seems to then affect my knee. Once I got to about 6 miles my knee started hurting more than my hip and I nearly stopped a couple of times along the route but thought if I did I might not get going again so I just plodded along. What I should tell myself is that although my time was a lot slower at least I finished. Hopefully next year I will be injury free to will be able to do a better time. Just need to get this hip probably sorted now before I do the Bradford HM in October.
