Ye Gods- I have been so busy reading all your blogs that I forgot to blog myself...so here goes on a three month catch up!

As you all know London was not meant to be so I settled for The Moonwalk instead- amazing night walking a marathon but so frustrating having to queue to cross roads...the little green man doesnt stay on for long enough, add to that half an hour to queue for the loo and it takes a long night to do it! Managed to get an upset stomach halfway round which I suspect might have been to do with the hastily eaten food- so nearly packed it in but kept going and clenching my oversized buttocks together and made it. Well lets face it you can only have an upset for so long then you just dry up!!!

Since then have been to Portugal for well earned rest, visited my beloved Orkney again, have put in a bid for a church to use as a new clinic, entered for London next year, did race for life today and just generally lived life to the full.

Not so good news-mum and dad continue to deteriorate though well cared for. Mum is now off her feet and dad takes several minutes to recognise us now(mum doesnt know us at all). My dear neighbour next door who was awaiting a huge heart op has now been told she has oesophageal cancer, so none will operate on her now- shes only 54.

Hope you are all well- remember we are only here for a short time. LIVE YOUR LIFE-LOVE IT and tell those who matter to you just how much you love them. Sleep well- Terry x

Puts things into perspective. Well done on your Moonwalk! I sympathise with you regarding the upset tum...can relate very well to the clenched buttock moments ( for me this has happened when I've stuffed rubbish the night before a long run!!)' added 19th Jul 2010

    • Hat 'Hello you! Must have missed this blog - hope you're okay. Huge congratulations on the Moonwalk - it is fun and a great thing to do isn't it. A bit worried that you are buying a church!! Is it going through? When will it be up and running as a clinic? Why don't you come on Facebook? I never write anything particularly personal - just mad fitness stuff like on here! It's just a great way to stay in touch, share and be nosey!! Sorry to hear about your Mum and Dad...And how sad about your neighbour as Jen (LadyFe) says above, it does put things in perspective doesn't it...Hey Ho. xxxx' added 27th Jul 2010
