Unlucky for some?
Jan1320127:16 p.m.
It may be Friday the thirteenth but today my girls came up with a full house of great results.
The eldest surprised even herself and sailed through the driving theory test.
Last night's running partner got the result of her re-taken Maths GCSE exam.
A star! (that's the result, although she too is a star)
And the littl'un got 10/10 in her spelling test.
I am considering having a paternity test!
I had a long run to get out of the way so I can spend the rest of the weekend working.
I did 8 miles. I picked a pretty, but very hilly route.
I don't know how but eighty per cent of the route must have been uphill.
It was like running a lap of Escher's staircase.
So I had a few walks here and there but I'm glad I tried it and will do it again one day and see if I can improve. It's all good training and I'm pretty sure there'll be no climbs like that in London on Aprill 22nd.
No running till Monday now but I have no work all next week so am looking forward to a really good week of training.
I am now going to walk to an off licence, where I intend to purchase a bottle of wine.
Have a great weekend all!
Oops, nearly forgot.
8 miles. 1 hour 23 mins Av. pace: 10.22

Mrs_Old_Bird 'Well done on the run, and you must be really proud of your girls! Hope you enjoyed the wine and no, there are no hills in London - the route is as flat as a pancake!' added 14th Jan 2012
