still in glourious devon and yes it is still wet 
the tray bakes are going well I have tried various types, treacle, cherry and almond and lemon drizzle. the idea was to bake at least one a day then freeze so i have plenty of stock by the time of the bake sale. So far out of the 3 made i have 1 and a half left hmmmmmmm. big mice down here me thinks..
training going well running in the rain i quite enjoy but it is sooo muggy down here it just seems to sap all energy out of you in no time. back up to sunderland early tommorow morning hopefully in one piece 5 plus hours of are we there yet does not seem like a picnic my any means.

Jenny1961 'I was interested to see you use the term 'daps' for trainers in your overview- I was brought up mainly in Gloucestershire where it was common to hear 'daps' bandied around- usually in relation to our gym plimsolls. I have never heard it since leaving Glos ( I now live in Essex). Good luck with your cake baking...making me very hungry!' added 21st Aug 2010
