dear runners and other crazy lunatics who are still interesting in my blog! Kiss

It has been a long long time (and I feel totally ashamed, believe me)Embarassed, since I actually posted my last blog.

SurprisedI blame myself, of course, also work load, as I am starting to get a bit busy now, and partially the fact, that I wasn't allowed to run!!

I started physio sessions again (but should have gone to specsavers...oops no, should have gone to osteopath instead Surprised as one of you recommended to me), because the physio couldn't understand what is wrong with the hip and why I am experiencing a hip pain even when I'm coughing.

Surely, recovering from the Marathon shouldn't last that long. I was wrong.

Physio gave me some exercises to strestrengthen my hip and bum. So I have been doing the same exercises like rugby players and footballers apparently. And it has just started working, as the pain is fading and is not so severe any more.

Cool On Saturday, what a fantastic weather that was!!!!Surprised I decided to put my running shoes on and give the run (short as physio said) a try.

I have been maintaining my fitness level by doing spinning classes, and other activities, so I knew I wasn't going to be too bad.

Off I went, started very slowly, and easy.

    I loved it!!! Kiss

....again I realized how energizing and invigorating running really is.... loved every second of my "short" run.

I managed to run for forty minutesInnocent, with couple of short breaks for drink. I felt naughty, as physio said only a short run....but I won't tell if you don't. Besides, what is 40 minutes compare to 5:30 hours Wink

I was impressed. It could have been better (if I would have been able to run longer), but I am still impressed. Pain was there, but numb. So I just keep doing the exercises physio told me to, and I should be fine.

I am sooooo happy. You can't imagine.

Oh the following day was rather painfulEmbarassed. I could feel all the running muscles again.

And I felt heavy feet again..that great heavy leg feeling you get the following day, which makes you aware, that yet again, you have done a great run the day before!

I am back on track. DON'T STOP ME NOW...I AM HAVING SUCH A GOOD TIME!

Need to start training for my half in September.

Good luck to all of you runners!!!!
