PACE provides a warm and loving environment and inspirational programmes in order to motivate children to work hard at achieving their goals. Children learn how they can solve problems and take responsibility for themselves.
The timetable is inspired by the principles of Conductive Education; a system that emphasises that the growing child develops as a whole and therefore requires an educational environment where all individual needs are addressed using a holistic approach.
PACE receives statutory funding towards the cost of placement for only some of the children who attend. It relies on funding from Charitable Trusts, companies, groups and individuals. Currently about one in every 400 children in the UK is affected by cerebral palsy. Help PACE reach more of these children through its innovative programme sessions, training and outreach services.
