The real,- BERLIN-MARATHON is a fabulous race - not content with being one of the fastest marathons in the world, the course route takes in more sights than an open top bus tour! You’ll have huge crowds of supporters cheering you on with whistles, cow bells, clackers, football rattles and basically anything that makes a noise!!

The Sussex Beacon is a national care centre for people living with HIV – it is one of only 2 in the UK. It offers residential care in the ten bedded unit which deals with the side effects of newly prescribed HIV drug therapies and community services such as innovative sleep clinics, health behaviour change clinics, smoking cessation and clinics which help people to make informed and positive choices about their own health care. It s a holistic approach which supports people to become part of society again and to deal with the stigma of HIV.

Join the Sussex Beacon Team and we’ll support you all the way – from fundraising advice to your very own Sussex Beacon running vest. Not forgetting our pre-race pasta party – fill up on carbohydrates whilst meeting your Beacon team mates.

Our Berlin Marathon places are not tied to a tour so why make a long weekend of it ? Berlin is packed with history, for shoppers you could blow plenty of Euros on the Ku'Damn. Throw in great night life and there’s something for everyone in Berlin.
