Hot, Wet ‘n’ Humid!

Posted on: 27 Jun 2020

A very wet-warm, warm-wet, wet-warm run today with (very welcome) heavy showers cooling my hot ‘n’ humid shuffle.

Plagued with lethargy & back ache this wasn’t my most convincing run but with temperature high & humidity over 70% I’m just happy to get the miles in the bank.

I think I need to add some speed training into the mix as (whilst I’ll never be fast) I am slower than I want/need to be. I’d like to be back down to 12 minute miles of which I know I’m capable. Any suggestions for beginner’s speed training guys?

As ever, thanks for reading my ramble & if you can spare a few pennies to support this lunacy and help my charity (MDUK) in the process, you can do so by following the link:

All amounts gratefully received. Every little really does help.

Cheers,
